Hope House Children's Hospices have an opportunity for a Senior Learning and Development Advisor to join our team based in Oswestry. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competative salary of between £36,167 - £40,937 per annum, plus benefits. We offer hybrid working to have a real work life balance, with a blend of working from the office in Oswestry and remotely from home.
Your role as Senior Learning and Development Advisor will be to work collaboratively as part of the People Team to provide a proactive, customer focussed and efficient people service, ensuring an engaged and valued workforce with the skills and knowledge to deliver the charity’s purpose.
The Senior Learning and Development Advisor's key responsibilities:
To work collaboratively as part of the People Team to provide a proactive, customer focussed and efficient people service, ensuring an engaged and valued workforce with the skills and knowledge to deliver the charity’s purpose.
Demonstrating behaviours reflecting our charity’s values of working together with trust and support, fairness, and honesty in the decisions we make and how we work and interact with others and embracing new learning and sharing of best practices.
You will partner with managers to contribute towards the delivery of: induction and learning programmes. Engagement, wellbeing, and equality, diversity & inclusion initiatives.
Develop and deliver robust effective frameworks around succession planning, leadership, and talent management.
We are looking for a Senior Learning & Development Advisorwho:
Is friendly and personable, you will be flexible in your approach to work and be comfortable to travel across Shropshire, Cheshire, and North Wales to fulfil your duties.
Has previous experience of working in an in-house learning and development team including knowledge of modern people development and change strategies and how to apply these in practice.
Has outstanding communication skills along with excellent project management and organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
